How to Rotate your Chromebook screen (Keyboard Shortcut)

This article explains how to rotate your Google Chromebook screen 90 degrees, using keyboard shortcuts

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. To rotate the screen, make sure that you are already logged in, or at least at the log-in screen of the chrome book
  2. Locate the three keys on the keyboard  ctrl, shift, and the Refresh key.

  3. Once you have located the three keys, you are going to press all three of them together. 
    • Another way of doing it, is to press the refresh key while already holding ctrl, and shift.
  4. Then a Dialogue box will appear and will say, "You pressed the keyboard shortcut for screen rotation. Do you want to rotate screen?" Please click the blue button Continue.
    • Notice when you clicked Continue, it rotated 90 degrees
    • If continue to do the same steps, it will not ask for permission and should keep rotating each time you do it.
